Overview

We are not responsible for behavior or temperament of any reptile.

We reserve the right to refuse sales for any reason.

If you have any questions or concerns about your reptile, PLEASE ask us. We are happy to answer any questions of any experience level for the lifetime of the reptile.

Sex of hatchlings and juveniles is not guaranteed.

Please wash your hands, as reptiles can carry salmonella, and handle all reptiles with care and caution. Reptiles can be very temperamental at times, especially after shipping. If you are bit or injured by any reptile after delivery is complete, it is not the responsibility of Zion Hill Exotics. 

The reptile shown on the Available page is not always the exact reptile you will receive (we often put one photo from a clutch to represent the entire clutch). Please ask us if you would like to see a photograph of the exact reptile you will be receiving.


Health Guarantee

You are required to inspect your reptile(s) upon shipping arrival and report any issues within 4 hours of FedEx delivery confirmation (this includes gender and observable illnesses and injuries). If we do not hear from you within 4 hours of delivery, your transaction will be considered closed and guarantee is voided.

If the reptile becomes ill within the first 2 days of delivery AND proof from a licensed reptile/exotic animal veterinarian is provided that clearly demonstrates the animal(s) were not in full health at the time of transfer, we will reimburse the customer for the cost of veterinary care required to restore the animal to full health up to the full purchase price of the animal within 5 business days. 


Payment

We do not take deposits or payment plans.

We do not keep waiting lists. All reptiles on the Available page are purchased on a first-come, first-served basis.

Reptiles cannot be put on hold. Payment in full is required to confirm transaction.

We accept the following payment types: PayPal and Credit Card. You will receive an invoice/receipt upon ordering.


Shipping

We only ship within the United States.

Customer is fully responsible for payment of shipping (cost is not included in price of reptile). Please email us for a shipping quote or one will be provided at checkout.

Once we receive your payment, you will be emailed to schedule delivery.

We ship for next day delivery every Monday through Wednesday.

You are required to inspect your reptile(s) upon shipping arrival and report any issues within 4 hours of FedEx delivery confirmation (this includes gender and observable illnesses and injuries). If we do not hear from you within 4 hours of delivery, your transaction will be considered closed and guarantee is voided.

If your reptile is dead upon arrival, you will be required to submit photographic proof. Your reptile will be replaced or your account will be credited depending on availability (please note that we do not always have an available inventory to replace your reptile immediately). If you cannot provide proof, you will be required to ship the reptile back to us at your expense.

Once the reptile has been delivered, inspected and confirmed healthy, the transaction is FINAL and no other negotiations can be made. No returns or exchanges.

We will ship year-round depending on the weather. The safety of the reptile comes first, so shipping will be at our discretion. We will hold the reptile at no charge until weather permits.
